Audiology Specialist

Staffing Proxy is seeking a skilled Audiologist to join our dynamic team in Canandaigua and Geneva, NY. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive diagnostic testing, hearing aid evaluation, selection, fitting, patient counseling, and follow-up care to adults experiencing hearing loss and tinnitus.
Responsibilities:- Perform comprehensive diagnostic hearing evaluations for adult and pediatric patients.
- Diagnose and provide treatment and rehabilitation for tinnitus patients.
- Perform APD test battery and provide Auditory training.
- Perform Immittance testing, including tympanometry and acoustic reflex threshold testing.
- Provide ongoing management, including follow-up and education, hearing aid checks and adjustments, repairs, and cleanings as necessary to maintain ongoing patient relationships.
- Counsel patients regarding test results and understanding the patient's hearing needs and lifestyle to develop a customized hearing care plan.
- Engage in marketing outreach and grow positive relationships with colleagues, vendors, fellow healthcare practitioners, and community organizations.
- AuD or Master's Degree in Audiology, current state licensure for Audiology and hearing aid dispensing.
- Interest in treating individuals experiencing tinnitus, hyperacusis, and misophonia is a plus.
