Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations to determine hearing loss, type, and degree.
  • Fitting and programming hearing aids based on diagnostic findings and patient needs.
  • Providing ongoing patient support, specializing in tinnitus management, and working with cochlear implants (CI) and bone-anchored hearing aids (BAHA).
  • Interpreting and reporting test results to determine hearing loss, type, and degree, both in written and verbal form.
  • Counseling and recommending appropriate treatment plans for the patient.
Requirements
  • Master's degree and/or Doctorate in Audiology, licensed in Illinois (or ability to obtain licensure).
  • Ability to prioritize and handle a full schedule of patients.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
