Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Grad Intern to join our team at Walmart. As a Pharmacy Grad Intern, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and accurately dispense prescription orders under the direction of a Pharmacist.
  • Counsel customers regarding health care and prescription medication needs.
  • Maintain confidential information and controlled medication procedures as permitted by local, state, and federal laws.
  • Ensure the accuracy of the chemical composition, structure, and properties of substances and evaluate potential chemical interactions and side effects associated with the use of prescribed medications.
  • Provide customer service by acknowledging the customer, identifying customer needs, and assisting with purchasing decisions.
  • Operate equipment, such as cash registers and related tools, to process customer purchases.
  • Receive and stock merchandise/supplies from distribution centers and suppliers and maintain the Pharmacy area in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Enrolled in final year at an accredited Pharmacy school.
  • Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Science and Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification.

The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00-$37.00, and additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) and Sales Volume Category (SVC) may also be applicable for certain positions.
