Transforming Healthcare at Prisma Health
We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our clinical teams and drive healthcare excellence. As a Clinical Director at Prisma Health, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical functions and activities of our department or group of practices.
About the Role
- Leadership and Strategy: Partner with operational and physician leadership to make strategic decisions around clinical process, workforce budget, and equipment procurement. Ensure these decisions align with regulatory standards and organizational financial goals.
- Team Management: Supervise clinical team members, direct personnel records, and assist with administrative functions such as payroll and OSHA compliance.
- Clinical Development: Develop and implement training programs for clinical team members in conjunction with our Education department. Ensure correct onboarding procedures for new staff and facilitate yearly competencies.
- Patient-Centered Care: Identify patient needs, recommend new programs and services, and ensure delivery of quality services for outpatients, families, and visitors.
- Collaboration and Representation: Participate in hospital/medical staff committee meetings, serve as a liaison/representative of physician leadership, and attend professional/civic service organizations as a system representative.
- Quality Improvement: Direct activities related to department objectives, establish quality levels and standards, and assess activities for continuous improvement.
- Professional Growth: Serve as a role model for other employees by performance and actions, apply management counseling skills, and maintain good interpersonal relationships.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a healthcare-related field.
- Experience: 3 years of experience in Nursing, with Ambulatory experience preferred.
- Certifications: Licensed to practice as a RN in South Carolina.
- Preferred Skills: Specialty Experience, Supervisory Experience, Certification in a Specialty area, and Patient Equip (Vitals, Suction, Defib) Experience.
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
