The successful candidate will collaborate effectively with various divisions within CEMEX, as well as with external customers, drivers, owner-operators, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Uphold all safety regulations and policies within the facility, promoting a culture of safety among employees and visitors.
  • Comply with CEMEX policies and operational procedures.
  • Safeguard the confidentiality of employee and owner-operator information.
  • Focus on the primary objective of ensuring accurate and timely payments to employees, owner-operators, and vendors, along with precise invoicing to clients.
  • Achieve a minimum of 99% accuracy in customer invoicing, addressing discrepancies promptly and collaborating with Credit, Dispatching, Management, and other departments to resolve issues before they affect customers.
  • Maintain at least 99% accuracy in payments to employees and owner-operators, swiftly addressing any concerns in partnership with HRIS, Dispatching, Management, and other relevant departments.
  • Ensure timely imaging of Proof of Delivery (POD) documents in accordance with CEMEX standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the accuracy of orders within the system.
  • Conduct reconciliations with other CEMEX divisions for services rendered, providing necessary documentation or additional information as required.
  • Process customer payments and identify discrepancies related to rates, weights, fuel charges, etc.
  • Work closely with the credit department to resolve customer disputes.
  • Address inquiries and issues from customers, drivers, owner-operators, and vendors effectively.
  • Manage requests for adding or updating vendor information in the systems, ensuring that essential details about vendors and owner-operators are accurately maintained.
  • Assist in the printing and mailing of invoices and statements to customers.
  • Support the preparation and distribution of settlement reports and 1099 forms to owner-operators.
  • Provide necessary documentation to auditors as required.
  • Contribute to the team by assisting with ad-hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Skills and Competencies

  • Dependable and capable of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and research abilities.
  • Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office at an intermediate level.
  • Experience with SAP is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Load Master is advantageous.
  • Commitment to building and maintaining effective working relationships.

Working Environment

  • Standard office setting.

Physical Demands

  • Frequent sitting, standing, and walking are required.
