Job Title: Credentialed Veterinary Technician

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Veterinary Technician to join our team at Memorial Drive Veterinary Clinic in Griffin, Georgia.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. As a Certified Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in our clinic's success, working closely with our veterinarians and support staff to provide top-notch care to our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including surgery, anesthesia, and patient monitoring
  • Perform laboratory tests, such as blood work and urinalysis, and interpret results
  • Administer medications and vaccines, and maintain accurate records
  • Provide exceptional patient care, including handling, restraint, and monitoring
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing education and support
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry advancements
Requirements:
  • Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) license
  • 2+ years of experience in the veterinary industry
  • Idexx and Avimark experience preferred
  • Knowledge of basic industry tools and equipment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
