Position Overview: We are on the lookout for a dedicated Fire Alarm Technician Trainee to become part of our esteemed team, comprising over 1,000 skilled professionals in the fire protection sector.

Location: This role is situated in our San Antonio (Schertz), TX facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the installation of fire safety equipment and the servicing, repair, and maintenance of fire protection systems under the guidance of a licensed technician.
  • Support in diagnosing and assessing systems requiring service, as well as troubleshooting issues encountered during inspections, always under the supervision of a licensed technician.
  • Engage with clients, contractors, vendors, and fellow employees in a courteous and professional manner.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience, training, or education in the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of fire systems or related equipment is advantageous but not essential.
  • Comprehensive training will be provided.
  • Willingness to work across various sectors, including commercial, industrial, healthcare, educational, and governmental facilities.
  • Must be prepared to obtain any necessary state licenses.
  • Ability to meet Government, Federal, and Customs background check requirements.
  • A valid Driver's License is required.
  • Attributes such as punctuality, organization, self-motivation, effective communication, a strong work ethic, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills are essential.
