Job Title: Retail Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Smart Foodservice Stores LLC. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and achieving sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide fast, easy, and efficient service to customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and front end.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and returns.
  • Restock shelves, maintain inventory levels, and ensure products are properly labeled and displayed.
  • Assist customers with finding products, answering questions, and resolving issues.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store environment.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 6-12 months retail cashier and/or stocking experience required.
  • Minimum one year retail selling and/or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible hourly schedule, including holidays and weekends.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in using general office equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Work Environment:

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. The noise level is moderate, and the temperature varies throughout the store. The position requires standing for long periods, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

This is a part-time position, and the expected compensation for this role is between $19.66-$21.09/hour. The position is eligible for overtime compensation and shift differential. This role is ineligible for benefits.
