We are seeking a motivated eCommerce Optimization Specialist to enhance our online retail platform. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in digital commerce to improve the shopping experience, boost customer conversion rates, and support broader organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and data-driven, collaborating closely with the eCommerce Manager to meet sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement strategies to optimize website performance, usability, and overall customer satisfaction, leading to increased conversion rates.
  • Enhance product listings, descriptions, and visual elements to enrich the online shopping journey and foster customer engagement.
  • Conduct A/B testing and multivariate testing to continuously refine website layout, navigation, product presentation, and checkout processes.
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, developers, marketers, and product managers, to prioritize and execute optimization initiatives based on business objectives and customer insights.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to design and implement eCommerce campaigns and promotions aimed at driving sales and increasing brand visibility.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies in alignment with business goals and target market demands.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as bounce rates and conversion metrics, utilizing insights to make informed decisions that enhance revenue and user experience. Generate detailed reports on eCommerce performance, providing actionable recommendations for ongoing improvements.
  • Stay informed on market trends and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities and best practices within the industry.
  • Engage with various teams across SHRM to enhance the eCommerce experience, including marketing, business intelligence, and technology.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, data science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in eCommerce, with a strong grasp of best practices and strategies for digital experience optimization and conversion rate enhancement.
  • 1-2 years of experience managing eCommerce platforms, with a preference for Adobe Commerce, Magento, or Adobe Experience Manager.
  • Familiarity with reporting and dashboards in Magento is preferred.
  • Experience in customizing and personalizing eCommerce sites is a plus.
  • Knowledge of NetSuite and platform integrations is advantageous.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proven project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead new initiatives from conception through execution in ambiguous environments.
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools to derive actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Understanding of digital marketing concepts, including SEO, SEM, and email marketing, focused on driving eCommerce growth.
  • Knowledge of best practices in eCommerce user experience design.
