About the Job:

This Special Events Housekeeping role is an excellent opportunity to join the Castaway team and contribute to the success of our events department. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all special event areas are clean, well-maintained, and ready for guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain restrooms, banquet spaces, and other event areas.
  • Set up and break down event spaces, including tables, chairs, linens, and decorations.
  • Assist with stockroom organization and inventory management.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and managers to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the success of special events.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; 1 year of experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Pleasant and professional demeanor, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to clearly communicate in English.

Salary Estimate: $16-$20 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
