Overview
The College of Engineering & Applied Science at UCCS will establish and maintain a pool of Lecturers in Computer Science for future temporary, non-tenure track appointments. These positions are part-time (less than 50% time) and will be filled on a semester-by-semester basis. The Computer Science Department offers a range of degrees including BS, BA, and BI in Computer Science; BI degrees in Game Design and Development, and Cybersecurity; MS in Computer Science; ME in Cybersecurity; and PhD degrees in Computer Science and Cybersecurity.
This role involves teaching various courses within the Computer Science department. Course formats may include on-campus, online, or hybrid. Subject areas may encompass:

- Unix Systems
- Web Development
- Computer Architecture
- Programming Language Concepts
- Database Management
- Ethical Hacking
- Computing Ethics

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field such as Mathematics, Information Systems, or Cybersecurity.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A terminal degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least four months of teaching experience.
- Interest or capability in delivering online courses.
- Relevant industry experience with ongoing professional engagement.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent movement is required while performing job duties.
- Occasional long periods of sitting, moderate bending, and fine motor skills are necessary.
