Job Title: Process Engineer

Join Actalent, a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions, as a Process Engineer. In this role, you will work directly on the shop floor at one of our flagship plants, tackling day-to-day improvement projects and collaborating closely with operators.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Corporate Manufacturing Engineering and Sr. Process Engineers with larger projects as required
  • Author and maintain work instructions for the shop floor
  • Maintain PFMEAs under supervision of Sr. Process Engineer and assist Quality in maintenance of Control Plan
  • Participate in Root Cause – Corrective Action exercises for defects that occurred in their assigned area
  • Purchase of hand tools and small equipment in support of improvement projects
  • Design of shop aids and small tooling in support of improvement projects
  • Own the process and collaborate with Corporate Manufacturing Engineering on the execution of manufacturing pilots and manufacturing trials to support new product and new process designs
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment (internship, co-op)
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to communicate and interact cross functionally
