Job Summary:

The Senior Business Systems Analyst will lead efforts to bridge business needs with technological solutions, providing advanced support and guidance to both business partners and development teams. This senior-level position involves technology discovery, in-depth process analysis, leading business requirements definition to successful completion, strategic involvement in corporate initiatives, and functional oversight of complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and partner in the identification and prioritization of business opportunities/ideas, focusing on long-term strategic goals.
  • Lead the cultivation and refinement of business ideas into actionable demands, including comprehensive business cases.
  • Conduct detailed assessments of current business processes using flowcharts and analytical tools to document and help identify gaps, inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
  • Lead the elicitation and documentation of complex, cross-functional business requirements for corporate and strategic priority initiatives.
  • Ensure business requirements are met by partnering with the QA team in blackbox testing and leading UAT efforts, including test strategy, planning, execution, and issue resolution.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of progressively increasing responsibility as a BSA, or equivalent business experience.
  • Extensive involvement in process analysis, process design and documentation, and involvement in complex large-scale and high-impact projects/platform implementations that add significant business value.
  • Fluent in desktop, project management, process flow charting tools (i.e. Visio, Lucid, etc.).
  • CRM system experience is great (i.e. Salesforce, etc.).
  • Pricing automation or Trade Management System familiarity would be great.
  • MicroStrategy experience would be helpful.
  • PLM (process lifecycle management) process/theory understanding is wonderful.
