Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical-Technical Laboratory Assistant to join our team in Northampton. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing laboratory medical examinations, sample distribution, and analysis using various laboratory systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct laboratory medical examinations with independence and responsibility
  • Distribute and transfer samples with precision and accuracy
  • Analyze various parameters using laboratory analysis systems in hematology, hemostaseology, clinical chemistry, and immunology
  • Determine immunohematological requirements manually
  • Perform urinalysis with attention to detail
  • Evaluate and validate analysis results with accuracy
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve common goals
  • Utilize computer skills to manage laboratory information software (e.g. Opus L)
  • Prioritize tasks in high-pressure situations
  • Exercise organizational skills, high sense of responsibility, and willingness to learn and take initiative

Requirements

  • Completion of vocational training as an MTLA or similar scientific education/study
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Good computer skills, with experience in laboratory information software an asset
