Senior Financial Analyst

Accentuate Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of the finance team, you will play a critical role in providing financial modeling and analytical support to our agriculture client in Cary, NC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales operations to review gross sales data, manage EDI processes, and analyze forecasts.
  • Partner with assigned business leaders to evaluate actual vs. budget and forecast variance analyses, expense planning, and financial control.
  • Assist the finance team with month-end close processes to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Coordinate the budgeting and forecasting processes, aligning assumptions and inputs across the company.
  • Maintain and update the company's planning software with monthly actuals, annual budgets, and rolling forecasts.
  • Support the management of ERP/BI systems to ensure proper alignment between GL account coding, cost centers, project codes, and other financial structures.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to analyze business opportunities, cost-saving initiatives, and strategic decisions.
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial reports, models, and document processes as needed to support decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Prior experience with consolidation/reporting software (Oracle EPM a plus).
  • Prior experience with data visualization software (PowerBI a plus).
  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced financial modeling.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting concepts, and financial modeling techniques.
  • Highly analytical and ability to translate analysis to business recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and time management skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
