Key Responsibilities:- Act as a subject matter expert in endpoint security tooling, endpoint security best practices, and industry standards.
- Plan and coordinate effective deployment and support of various security tools.
- Operate and maintain endpoint security tools-based solutions across corporate devices.
- Maintain, update, and develop reports, dashboards, and alerting within the security tools to ensure product coverage and compliance.
- Review endpoint policies to effectively mitigate current threats and drive standards improvement as industry sources recommend.
- Ensure communication, compliance, and functionality of security communication agents from devices across the enterprise.
- Perform lifecycle maintenance of security tools; stay updated on new features and enhancements in coming releases.
- Manage vulnerability management program to ensure critical and high-security patches are implemented methodically and timely, based on priority driven by industry threat activity and system risk.
- Manage Nessus vulnerability scans and report to leadership on vulnerability scan results and compliance.
- Act as the security tooling subject matter expert during technical troubleshooting sessions. Collaborate with application and infrastructure support teams to rule out the possibility of security tools being the root cause of incidents or system performance degradation.
- Continually assess operational procedures and make recommendations based on business or operational requirements. Identify potential issues/risks and propose mitigation steps to team leadership.
- Write technical documents for operational procedures and troubleshooting steps for various security tools.
- Manage incident and request ticket queues and write support procedures for tier 1 teams to increase 1st contact resolution rates.
- Write implementation plans for changes to security tools. Perform testing and follow the IT change process for all security tools and systems changes.
- Collaborate with Information Security Engineers on version upgrades, new features, and new tools. Provide feedback to engineering on the impact on operations and support to ensure smooth transitions of major changes to tooling.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Minimum five years of experience in a combination of incident response, information security and IT.
- Minimum three years of experience working in an ITSM ticketing tool.
- Knowledge of information security concepts and technologies such as: endpoint controls, networking, network segmentation, vulnerability scanners, firewalls, IPS/IDS, network analyzers, data loss prevention, application control, security event management, encryption technologies, proxies, cloud services, mobile devices, etc.
- Experience with supporting applications on Windows 10, Windows Server OS, Linux.
- Associate's degree or higher level of education in a technology-related field from an accredited institution.
- General experience with scripting (Powershell, Ansible, Python)
