The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central and Northern NH is seeking a qualified Lead Early Childhood Educator to join our team at the Warner Early Learning Center in Warner, NH.

Salary

$45,000 - $55,000 per year (estimated), depending on experience.

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate educator to lead our early childhood program. As a Lead Early Childhood Educator, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and supervising educational activities that promote the social, emotional, cognitive, creative, physical, and linguistic development of our members.

Your primary focus will be on creating a nurturing classroom environment that fosters a love of learning and helps children reach their full potential. You will work closely with your colleagues to develop and implement engaging lesson plans, manage classroom behavior, and maintain accurate records of student progress.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field;
  • At least 2 years of experience in early childhood education;
  • 18 credits in ECE or equivalent;
  • Knowledge of current methods, principles, and techniques of teaching;
  • Ability to plan and implement quality programs; proven track record of creative and artistic teaching strategies;
  • Ability to form developmentally appropriate relationships with children and promote positive behavior;
  • Ability to motivate members and manage behavior problems with patience;
  • Ability to organize and supervise members in a safe environment;
  • Ability to communicate with staff, families, and community members in a variety of methods;
  • CPR and First Aid certifications;
  • Safe driving record and willingness to drive the Club van/short bus periodically;
