About the Job

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our team as a Private Duty Nurse. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will provide one-on-one care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes, working closely with our patients and their families to ensure the highest level of care and support.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and coordinate care plans in accordance with physician orders
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed
  • Document all care provided in a timely and accurate manner
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on disease management and prevention strategies
Requirements
  • Current, unrestricted LPN/LVN license in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification
  • One year of experience as a LPN/LVN, preferably in a home health setting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
