Aveanna Healthcare is a leading national provider of home health services to medically fragile children and adults. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our team as a Private Duty Nurse in Jarrell, TX.

Job Summary:

The Private Duty Nurse will provide one-on-one care to patients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities and providing medical care as needed. This is a part-time position, with flexible scheduling to accommodate the needs of our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement and coordinate patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide skilled nursing care, including wound care, medication management, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements:
  • Current, unrestricted LPN/LVN license in the state of Texas.
  • At least 6 months of experience as a LPN/LVN in a clinical care setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
