Key Responsibilities:

As the Service Manager for the Northeast Region, you will lead a team of aftermarket professionals, focusing on field service, repairs, parts procurement, and customer relations. You will collaborate with the Director of Sales & Service to establish strategies aimed at enhancing customer engagement and driving growth.

Service Management Duties:

  • Oversee and guide the activities of Field Service and Repair Technicians.
  • Provide direct supervision and technical assistance to service staff performing on-site services, including installation, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
  • Enhance team capabilities through coaching and mentoring, helping members achieve their potential and set performance goals.
  • Prepare service technicians for customer engagements by ensuring they are equipped with necessary information regarding equipment and service requirements.
  • Coordinate with other Regional Service Managers to optimize resource allocation across the United States.
  • Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
  • Maintain a skilled and knowledgeable workforce by ensuring ongoing training and development.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, employment, and environmental regulations.
  • Review and authorize expense reports, timecards, and leave requests, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Be available for emergency calls outside of regular hours on a rotational basis.

Technical Support Responsibilities:

  • Address technical inquiries related to parts, equipment, and services, providing troubleshooting assistance and recommendations to customers.
  • Maintain a solid technical foundation to effectively support Aerzen's positive displacement products.
  • Deliver training and technical support to service and repair technicians, ensuring accurate information dissemination.
  • Uphold high standards of customer service by coordinating timely equipment installations and addressing performance issues.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of quotes, orders, and service items in the operating system.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, preferably in Technical or Business disciplines, with a focus on Electrical or Controls Engineering.

Experience:

  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Advanced user of ERP systems (Navision / Business Central) with a strong understanding of service-related processes.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms is advantageous.

Technical Skills:

  • Intermediate proficiency in software applications such as Nitro PDF, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with other software tools like ADP, Concur, and Intelex.
