Required Qualifications

You qualify for this position if you...

  • Hold a B.S. in engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Possess knowledge in key areas related to reentry such as aerodynamic performance, flight dynamics, and subsystem functionality
  • Have experience or understanding in the design, integration, and/or testing of hypersonic systems
  • Exhibit strong computational skills and programming proficiency, particularly in MATLAB
  • Demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and multidisciplinary teams, including industry and military personnel
  • Are willing to travel occasionally for meetings or field tests at various sites
  • Are comfortable working in secure facilities
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Show initiative, a desire for skill enhancement, and the adaptability to take on diverse assignments.
  • Hold an active Secret security clearance and are eligible to obtain a Top Secret clearance, subject to a government security investigation and the requirements for access to classified information. U.S. citizenship is required.

  • Have an M.S. in engineering with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • Possess prior experience with Navy and/or Air Force strategic reentry systems
  • Have a comprehensive background in areas such as Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), aero-thermal analysis, aerodynamics, structural dynamics, and interface performance requirements
  • Have previous design experience related to missile and reentry body subsystems
  • Currently hold an active Top Secret Clearance
