Audiologist Role at United States Air Force

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize advanced equipment and techniques to diagnose and treat hearing and balance-related issues.
  • Provide comprehensive care to Airmen and their families, ensuring their hearing health is protected and maintained.
  • Collaborate with other medical professionals to develop and implement effective hearing conservation strategies.
Requirements:
  • Hold a doctoral degree in audiology (AuD or PhD) from an accredited institution.
  • Be certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) or the American Board of Audiology (ABA).
  • Have a minimum of 24 months of experience in audiology.
  • Hold a current unrestricted state license.
  • Complete Officer Training School course.
