Job Summary

Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Audiology Intern to join our team. As an Audiology Intern, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of professionals who are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and advancing the field of audiology.

Responsibilities
  • Follow-up and Documentation: Complete required daily/weekly activities and documentation to ensure accurate scheduling, exchange of clinical information, reporting, referrals, and charges.
  • Professional Responsibility and Development: Supports and participates in performance improvement activities, participates in peer review, and actively participates on specialty teams.
  • Compliance: Sustain a working understanding of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards, support leadership in Compliance efforts, and be mindful of safety and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Productivity and Contributions to Revenue: Manage schedule and patient visits to make productive use of time and achieve productivity targets.
  • Treatment: Formulate, maintain, support, monitor, and modify a patient-specific plan for care, treatment, and rehabilitation based on the patient's assessment under supervision of assigned preceptor.
  • Diagnostic Evaluations: Perform all routine and some specialty diagnostic evaluations under supervision of assigned preceptor, choose and administer appropriate tests according to standard procedures, and assess communication skills.

Requirements
  • AuD or PhD candidacy
  • 4th year of an accredited graduate program in Audiology
  • Eligible for state licensure after 12 months of the Professional Experience Year
