Job Summary

BGF Industries is seeking a skilled Machine Maintenance Mechanic to join our team on the third shift. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and efficiency of our textile equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on textile equipment, including looms and other machinery
  • Identify and rectify faults in a timely manner to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks in accordance with our company's program
  • Record and document all maintenance activities, including parts used and repairs made
  • Ensure a high standard of housekeeping in the weaving areas
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals and objectives
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Demonstrated experience in machinery repair and troubleshooting
  • Successful completion of a mechanical aptitude test
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
