Pharmacist Opportunity

KurzSolutions is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team at the Uintah and Ouray Health Center in Fort Duchesne, Utah. As a Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive public health services to our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Screen patient charts to ensure medication orders are aligned with the chart note, lab work, vitals, and allergies.
  • Process new medication orders and fill prescription orders as needed.
  • Check filled prescription orders for accuracy and educate patients on medication therapy.
  • Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team and providers to ensure timely and accurate pharmaceutical services.
  • Recognize life-threatening emergencies and initiate resuscitation measures as needed.
  • Participate in the service unit Functional Improvement, Pain Reduction Committee and Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Pharmacist.
  • Bachelor or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from an accredited pharmacy program.
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Active, unrestricted, and free of disciplinary action license as a Pharmacist in a State, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a Territory of the United States.
