Job Summary

As a Family Medicine Physician at KurzSolutions, you will have the opportunity to provide comprehensive medical care to patients in a rural setting. Our ambulatory care facility is staffed by a team of healthcare professionals who are dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the medical care of patients, performing functions as delineated by the medical staff privileging process.
• Adhere to the scope of work and accept work assignments from the Clinical Director as necessary.
• Provide direct care/services to pediatric, geriatric, adolescent, and adult patients, including contact with outpatient COVID patients in the urgent care setting.
• Provide comprehensive therapeutic and preventive health services to individual COVID-positive patients, family members, and patient groups in a home or community-based setting as a primary health resource and physician extender.
• Assess and diagnose needs to produce a plan of action to meet identified needs by providing medical health services to individuals and families, and interpretations of x-ray imaging results and laboratory test results and findings.
• Apply Medical Doctor skills in all phases of health care services.
• Assist with community outreach activity in the local area.
• Make decisions concerning medical care needs of patients with physicians and designated consultants.
• Provide lifesaving and support measures in emergency situations.

Requirements

• Completion of a (3) year residency program in a primary care specialty such as Family Practice, Pediatrics, or Internal Medicine.
• Board Certification in Family Medicine is required.
• Doctorate degree of Osteopathic or Allopathic medicine.
• Current certification in BLS (Basic Life Support).
• Active, unrestricted, and free of disciplinary action license as a physician in a State, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a Territory of the United States.
