Electronics Security Systems Specialist

Job Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining electronic security systems. Your duties will include performing preventive maintenance requirements, conducting and documenting daily tool box talks, and installing head end equipment at both the local and global level. You will also be responsible for programming head end equipment for Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and CCTV systems, as well as troubleshooting and isolating both systems and/or hardware at both a local and global level. Additionally, you will provide on-site software commissioning and testing, and perform inspections, evaluations, and inventory.
Requirements
This position requires a valid driver's license, and may require ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle. Selected candidates must possess an acceptable driving record in accordance with our policy. Education requirements include a high school diploma or GED, military electronics training (minimum 720 classroom hours), or graduation from an accredited electronics technician program or electrical apprenticeship program. Additionally, you must have 8 years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs, with 3 years of experience focused in electronic security systems. Strong oral, written, and presentation skills are also required, as well as demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams, time management, and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives. Strong MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills are a plus. Up to 25% travel is required, and CCURE experience is required. Vendor certifications in multiple IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems are also desirable.
Physical Abilities/Requirements
This position requires the ability to lift at least 100 pounds at one time and 60 pounds for an extended period of time, as well as the ability to relocate a 12 foot stepladder without assistance. You must also be able to work at various heights up to 60 feet and climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, and all types of ladders. Additionally, you must be able to walk, climb, lift, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and reach overhead on a routine and repetitive basis. Good vision (may be corrected vision), the ability to see in color, and the ability to hear and communicate in English are also required.
