- High school diploma or GED preferred; candidates must be at least 21 years old.
Position Summary: Responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and overall well-being of clients while delivering the highest standard of care.
Required Skills: Strong oral and written communication abilities. Maintain a supportive and positive relationship with supervisors, colleagues, and clients. Basic computer proficiency and a non-judgmental, unbiased approach towards clients are essential.
Physical and Environmental Requirements: Visual acuity and manual dexterity are necessary for paperwork. Frequent communication through talking and listening is required with supervisors, families, and other service providers. The physical demands are light, involving walking, standing, and occasional bending.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service to staff, clients, families, and stakeholders.
- Support the health, safety, and welfare of staff, clients, and stakeholders.
- Remain on-site unless authorized by the supervisor.
- Manage phone communications, conduct screenings, and take messages.
- Uphold client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Engage in morning and evening meditation sessions.
- Conduct regular checks on clients throughout the facility.
- Collaborate with the Program Manager and team in program development.
- Assist in maintaining the quality assurance of the organization.
- Participate in staff meetings as scheduled.
- Oversee client supervision and respond to requests and emergencies during shifts.
- Facilitate scheduled group sessions.
- Encourage client participation in programs and classes.
- Support clients in adapting to community living.
- Assist with medication administration as needed.
- Monitor group attendance in coordination with the clinical team.
- De-escalate tense situations to maintain a calm environment.
- Document any aggressive behaviors in incident reports.
- Ensure accountability in all actions.
- Inspect facility cleanliness and ensure proper organization of personal items.
- Monitor client visitations and oversee the sign-in and sign-out process.
- Ensure clients do not use cleaning products without supervision.
- Maintain regular cleaning and sanitization of the program area.
- Prepare simple meals during weekends.
- Ensure compliance with designated smoking areas for clients and visitors.
- Provide local transportation if approved by Risk/Compliance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
