Job Summary

The General Service Technician is a key member of our team at Icahn Automotive Group LLC, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and performing a variety of automotive services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and Repair Automotive Issues: Utilize mechanical aptitude to diagnose and repair basic automotive issues, including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, and electrical systems.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Automotive Technology: Continuously learn new technical information and techniques through formal training sessions to stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Change engine oil and filter, install and perform tire maintenance, install batteries and check starting/charging systems, install headlights and other small bulbs, repair flat tires, and install wiper blades.
  • Assist Fellow Technicians: Assist fellow technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Adhere to Company Policies: Adhere to all company policy, procedure, safety, and environmental rules.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Passion for Automotive Industry: Demonstrate a passion for a career as a technician in the automotive industry.
  • Eager to Learn: Be eager to learn and have a competitive drive to succeed.
  • High School Diploma or GED: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Availability: Be available to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends as needed.
  • Background Check: Successfully complete a pre-employment background check.
