Duke Health is seeking a visionary leader to serve as the Chief of the Division of Nephrology. As a national leader in kidney care, research, and education, the Division is a hub for innovation and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to advance the key missions of the division.
- Lead a large clinical practice providing comprehensive inpatient and ambulatory care for Duke University Health System.
- Oversee a substantial outpatient dialysis program serving Durham, Raleigh, and surrounding counties.
- Lead a vibrant research program spanning basic, translational, clinical, and health services research.
- Collaborate with the Duke Clinical Research Institute, the Duke Molecular Physiology Institute, and the Hubert-Yeargan Center for Global Health.
- Educationally lead the ACGME-accredited Nephrology Fellowship Program and the AST-accredited kidney transplant fellowship.
Requirements:
- MD degree or equivalent from an accredited College of Medicine.
- Board-certified in Nephrology.
- Eligible for appointment at the Associate Professor level or higher (tenure track) at Duke University School of Medicine.
