As a Technician at Chapman Ford of Columbia, your primary focus will be on delivering top-notch service to our customers. You'll be responsible for diagnosing vehicle issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that our customers are completely satisfied with the work done. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us maintain our reputation for excellence.

To qualify for this role, you'll need:
- Automotive dealership experience is preferred
- Ford experience is a plus
- PA Emission/Inspection License is required
- Valid Driver's License with no major violations within the past 3 years
As an Automotive Service Professional, your responsibilities will include:
- Receiving repair orders from the dispatcher and taking them to the stall area
- Performing work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
- Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and performing the appropriate repair
- Documenting work performed and the reason for the failure of a component
- Attending factory-sponsored training classes
- Keeping the shop area neat and clean and being able to account for all dealership-owned tools at all times
- Understanding and following federal, state, and local regulations, such as those governing the use and storage of chemicals and the disposal of hazardous wastes
- Road-testing vehicles to quality-check work performed
Based on the location and the requirements of the job, we estimate the salary for this role to be around $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
