Cloud and Cybersecurity Specialist

KPMG is seeking a skilled Cloud and Security Engineer to join our Global Information Technology (GT&K) Group. The successful candidate will provide support for our Secure Connectivity Chapter, ensuring the reliability and security of our cloud-based services.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide regular on-call support for our cloud-based services, utilizing a follow-the-sun handover process between regions.
Identify and implement continual improvements to our cloud-based services, ensuring adherence to guidelines and best practices.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure operational stability and technical expertise in assigned projects.
Assess vendors and suppliers for suitability in providing services related to our Chapter's responsibilities.
Requirements:
Minimum five years of recent relevant IT work experience, with at least three years of experience in complex network environments.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or relevant work experience.
Knowledge and hands-on experience with Azure Networking, Palo Alto Technologies, and other cloud-based security solutions.
Strong understanding of firewall and network management principles, including PCNSE, CCNP Security, and CCSE certifications.
