Role Overview:
As a Mortgage Banking Specialist, you will play a crucial role in generating mortgage loan production through various channels, including banking center leads, referrals, and networking. Your primary responsibility will be to originate a minimum of 60 first mortgage loans annually while building strong relationships with referral partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to enhance the bank's market presence.

  • Monitor market trends and competition to inform sales strategies.
  • Prospect for new business while servicing existing clients effectively.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in mortgage banking.
  • In-depth knowledge of RESPA and government regulations.
  • Registered and licensed in the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS).

Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in mortgage banking.

Skills and Abilities:
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and mortgage software applications.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Ability to make informed decisions and improve processes.
