About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Superintendent to join our team at a Civil Construction Company located in Savannah, GA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing site work operations and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of site workers to achieve project goals
  • Oversee site work operations, including fine grading, storm drain installation, and excavation
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and owners to ensure project success
  • Manage crew schedules, hire and train new team members, and make decisions on site
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Requirements
  • Expertise in fine grading, storm drain installation, and excavation
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Experience with GPS laser technology and grading math
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines
