Physical Therapy Department Director

AdvisaCare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Physical Therapy to lead our physical therapy department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Department Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to a team of physical therapists, ensuring they have the resources and training necessary to provide exceptional care.
- Operational Management: Manage and oversee the daily operations of the physical therapy department, including developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure the highest quality of care.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure effective treatment plans, and communicate effectively with patients and families.
- Quality Improvement: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of therapy programs and make recommendations for improvement, staying up-to-date with advancements in physical therapy practices and implementing best practices.
- Compliance and Record-Keeping: Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and maintain accurate records.
- Education: Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
- Licensure: Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Michigan.
- Leadership and Management Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.
- Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of state and federal regulations pertaining to physical therapy services, and strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
