Staff Nurse II-Fremont Inpatient Med/Psych Specialist

The Registered Nurse II is a key member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Staff Nurse II, you will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and social needs, developing individualized care plans to address their unique requirements.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
- Implement evidence-based practices and protocols to promote patient safety, quality, and satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, using active listening and empathetic skills to build trust and rapport.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development, staying current with best practices and advancements in nursing care.
- Contribute to a culture of safety, respect, and inclusivity, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
- Two years of recent experience in inpatient psychiatric nursing and six months of recent experience in med surg.
- Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program and completion of the current hours required by the BRN of RN student clinical experience.
- Registered Nurse License (California) and Basic Life Support certification.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the RN scope of practice, commitment to service orientation, and effective written and oral communication skills.
- NCAL RN certification.
