The Marine Operations Specialist is a skilled and certified individual responsible for managing vessel operations under the guidance of the General Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Operate vessels for various purposes including relocation, towing, passenger transport, and maintenance.
- Ensure the safety of passengers while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Assist in vessel operations and maintenance as directed by the Captain.
- Monitor the vessel's daily performance, including speed, engine pressure, and water depth, while communicating with other vessels.
- Be available for overtime as necessary.
Adhere to Safe Harbor Marinas' Safety and Environmental protocols and complete all required training.
- Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment as mandated for specific tasks.
- Promptly report any accidents, injuries, spills, or near misses.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2-5 years of experience in marina operations preferred.
- Prior management experience is advantageous.
- Must possess a USCG Captain's License.
- Ability to work safely in aquatic environments.
- Must be a competent swimmer.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Demonstrate eagerness to engage in a dynamic and leading company.
- Consistently treat colleagues with respect and dignity.
- Exhibit a service-oriented mindset with humility and positivity.
