Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Select Medical's Critical Illness Recovery Hospitals. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care to critically ill patients who require extended hospital care.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patient needs and develop an appropriate treatment plan
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions
  • Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes
  • Promote continuous quality improvement
  • Teach and counsel patients and families
Requirements
  • Active CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date
  • Current state licensure
  • ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of related experience
