Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronic Technician II to join our team at the Central Florida Reception Center. As an Electronic Technician II, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of all types of electronic systems and devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair electronic systems and devices, including electronic perimeter security systems, internal electronic security systems, and CCTV systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and maintenance tasks to ensure the proper function of all electronic systems and equipment.
  • Supervise and provide on-the-job training to inmates, focusing on infrastructure-type training such as conduit installation, wire pulling, and device mounting.
  • Prepare reports as directed by the Maintenance and Construction Superintendent.
  • Plan and organize work to be performed, requisitioning necessary parts and supplies to ensure proper operation of all electronic systems and equipment.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience in the electronics/electrician field, or four or more years of electronics experience.
  • A valid driver's license.
