Position Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Store Manager who embodies the GNC philosophy of 'Live Well.' In this role, you will oversee the daily retail operations of the store, collaborating closely with the District Manager. Your leadership will be crucial in driving financial performance, developing team members, and creating a positive work atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers to assist them in selecting the right products and provide tailored recommendations based on their needs.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to GNC's Vision and Values.
  • Achieve and surpass personal sales targets while mentoring sales associates to reach their potential.
  • Exhibit strong leadership and team-building skills, including providing ongoing feedback to associates, recruitment, and performance management.
  • Stay informed about product trends and facilitate the training of associates on product knowledge.
  • Manage store operations, including cash handling, inventory management, and compliance with GNC procedures.
  • Order merchandise and supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels, ensuring store presentation aligns with GNC standards.
  • Verify all merchandise deliveries to the store.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of omni-channel orders in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Maintain awareness of all store communications, including product information and marketing initiatives.
  • Exhibit strong multitasking abilities and decision-making skills in a detail-oriented manner.
  • Collaborate with Loss Prevention to uphold GNC's policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail sales and management within a specialty retail environment.
  • Self-driven with excellent communication and team-building capabilities.
  • Adherence to all operational policies and procedures.
  • Ability to manage staffing schedules within budgetary constraints for optimal coverage.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
