We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at Agile Occupational Medicine. As a key member of our therapy division, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch care to our patients with orthopedic conditions.

We are dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care that helps individuals recover from injuries and return to work as quickly as possible.

Your Role

As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing direct clinical care to patients, following the supervising Physical Therapist's plan of care;
  • Supporting Physical Therapists and patients through tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication;
  • Executing plans of care and follow-up treatment visits with a focus on rehabilitation;
  • Instructing and counseling patients effectively in exercises, home programs, and patient education;
  • Maintaining open communication with the patient, supervising therapist, and referring physician (when applicable) regarding the patient's plan of care and progress;
  • Completing timely and accurate documentation;
  • Utilizing excellent time management skills, ability to multi-task, and prioritize work;
  • Demonstrating knowledge of physical therapy office management systems and procedures;
  • Showcasing social perceptiveness and service-oriented behavior;
  • Possessing strong organizational and planning skills;
  • Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software;

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must:

  • Be a graduate of an accredited PTA Program;
  • Hold current California PTA Licensure;
  • Have outpatient experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate; new graduates are welcome to apply.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000-$95,000 annually, exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Additionally, you can expect:
