Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
  • Implementation and Evaluation: Develop and implement individualized care plans to address patient needs, and evaluate the effectiveness of care provided.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Education and Training: Provide education and training to patients and families on disease management, medication use, and self-care techniques.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with a minimum of 1 year of ICU experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience in an acute care setting, with a preference for 2 years or more.
  • Licensure: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse from the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners, with a compact license accepted.
  • Certifications: Current Healthcare Provider ACLS and BLS certifications issued by the American Heart Association.
Benefits
  • Competitive Salary: Starting at $28.64 per hour, with a maximum of $42.95 per hour based on experience.
  • Differential Pay: Nights: $3.75 per hour, Weekend: $4.20 per hour.
  • Sign-On Bonus: Up to $10,000 with a 2-year commitment.
  • Relocation Assistance: $3,000 with a 2-year commitment.
