Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineering Specialist to join our team at Troy Corporation.

About the Role

This is a key leadership position responsible for leading and directing the maintenance department's mechanical maintenance and reliability initiatives. As a Reliability Engineering Specialist, you will provide technical assistance to the maintenance department, lead predictive and preventative maintenance programs based on solid asset management fundamentals and reliability centered maintenance practices.

Responsibilities
  • Lead or support appropriate studies to improve reliability and cost structure through optimization of maintenance plans and practices while acting as a mentor to maintenance personnel.
  • Implement corporate Mechanical Integrity program at the site.
  • Provide on-site engineering and project support.
  • Engineering design and plant operations support utilizing reliability centered maintenance strategies, condition-based maintenance techniques and monitoring, and good engineering practices.
  • Evaluate and generate design alternatives to help arrive at optimal choices, especially during the early stage of engineering projects.
  • Data analysis to identify worst actors and remediation efforts, calculation of reliability centered maintenance KPI's (MTBF, MTTR).
  • Ensure engineering design complies with governing codes, regulatory requirements, and client standards.
  • Participate in site efforts to implement Process Safety Management elements at the site.
  • Calculation of reliability centered maintenance KPI's (MTBF, MTTR).
  • Develops solutions to repetitive failures and other problems that could adversely affect plant operations. These problems include capacity, quality, cost or regulatory compliance issues.
  • Identify and manage asset reliability risks, identify critical spare parts. Initiate and document PM programs.
  • Provide reliability and maintainability perspectives during new equipment design phase.
  • Ensure engineering design complies with governing codes, regulatory requirements, and client standards.
  • Provides technical support to maintenance technicians.
  • Identify technical training needs and help coordinating training program.
  • Develop, plan and coordinate projects from inception to completion ensuring efficient implementation, timely completion, and compliance to budget. Contributes on larger capital projects (CAPEX).
  • Participate in site efforts to implement Process Safety Management elements at the site.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, or related field of study.
  • Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) and/or Society of Maintenance and Reliability Professionals (SMRP), preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project).
  • Ability to analyze large amounts of data in excel.
  • Proficient in problem solving including root cause analysis and countermeasure implementation.
  • Working knowledge of asset management and reliability centered maintenance practices.
  • Knowledge of capital project development, execution, and field implementation.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Possess good interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to a participative work environment.
Estimated Salary Range

$120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience.

This is an estimated salary range based on industry standards and national averages. The actual salary may vary based on factors such as location, experience, and performance.
