Aurora Family Dentistry is seeking a highly skilled Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice by coordinating appointments, managing front desk duties, and providing administrative support.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Scheduling Patient Appointments: Utilizing administrative systems to schedule patient appointments accurately and efficiently.
  • Coodinating with Clinical Staff: Coordinating with clinical staff to ensure proper scheduling of procedures and minimizing wait times for patients.
  • Reviewing Documentation: Reviewing documentation for accuracy and completeness to ensure that all necessary information is available for patient care.
  • Data Entry: Performing typing for data entry tasks, including entering patient information and appointment schedules.
  • Administrative Support: Providing administrative support to ensure smooth operations, including answering phones, greeting patients, and handling correspondence.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $50,000 - $65,000 based on your experience and qualifications. This salary range is competitive and reflects the importance of this role in ensuring the success of our dental practice.

Requirements
  • Proficiency in Dentrix: Proficiency in Dentrix or other dental practice management software is preferred.
  • Positive Attitude: A positive attitude, ability to work well as part of a team, and eagerness to continuously learn new skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Strong Typing Skills: Strong typing skills for accurate data entry are required.
  • Prior Experience: Prior experience in providing front desk or administrative support in a medical or dental setting is preferred.
