Job Summary

Wind Tech Recruiters is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to serve as a Team Lead Project Manager for our MEP-FP consulting engineering firm. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance, coaching, and task management to assigned discipline design staff. Your expertise in HVAC and/or Plumbing Building Systems Design will be essential in developing and planning systems, managing MEP design projects cross-functionally, and ensuring coordination and scope of work understanding between design team and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Mechanical Team with developing and planning HVAC and/or Plumbing systems along with managing MEP design projects cross-functionally.
  • Attend Kick-off meetings with design team, clients, and owner to develop a scope of work for projects.
  • Perform site visits to determine existing conditions and document all associated systems included in scope of work.
  • Provide project management from project kickoff through construction administration.
  • Convey all information required to internal stakeholders for submissions on all design deliverables.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in HVAC and/or Plumbing Building Systems Design.
  • Expected to immediately step in to provide team leadership and project management for all design aspects of assigned projects.
  • Must have a thorough knowledge of applicable building codes.
  • Must be able to provide consultation on mechanical equipment room sizes during the appropriate design stage.
  • Must have a working knowledge of AutoCAD MEP and/or Revit.
