Experienced Pediatric Cardiothoracic PA Needed for Coastal Texas Location

We are recruiting an experienced Pediatric Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant to join our team in Southern Texas. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assisting with surgical procedures, and collaborating with our medical team.
About the Role:This is a locum opportunity with the possibility of converting to a permanent position. The candidate will be expected to work independently, under the supervision of an attending cardiovascular surgeon, to provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients with a wide range of cardiac diseases and disorders.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide pre-operative care, including writing orders and obtaining consultations
- Assist with intra-operative care, including first and second assist and placement of indwelling catheters
- Provide post-operative care, including writing orders and obtaining consultations
- Collaborate with our research team on projects and data collection
The salary for this position is estimated to be $120-$150 per hour, with additional benefits provided by Palm Health Resources, including lodging, rental car, mileage, and malpractice coverage.
