Job Title: Senior Project Engineer - Green Hydrogen

Pattern Energy Group LP is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer - Green Hydrogen to support the development and execution of green hydrogen projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and coordinating engineering functions for multiple projects in development or construction phase.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to pre-construction and construction teams
  • Interpret project requirements and manage outsourced engineering activities
  • Lead proper execution of engineering-related activities for green hydrogen, green ammonia, and other green hydrogen derivative projects
  • Propose cost-competitive execution and operations techniques
  • Evaluate and assist in finding resolution to technical issues
  • Actively participate in key project meetings and prepare design specifications
  • Support the interface with lender's independent engineers and identify resource requirements for ongoing projects
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical engineering
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in chemicals or oil and gas industry
  • Minimum 5 years of pre-FEED, FEED, and EPC experience in major projects
  • Experience in evaluating chemicals or oil and gas sector projects through early FEL studies
  • Well-versed with good engineering practices, international codes, and standards
  • Experience in project engineering and working with diverse groups of stakeholders
  • General understanding of work safety procedures and compliance requirements
