We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Inspector to join our team at TranSystems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that construction work meets our high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect construction sites to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and regulations.
  • Conduct quality control inspections to identify and address any issues or defects.
  • Verify levels, alignment, and elevation of installations to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Measure distances and dimensions to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Prepare samples of materials for laboratory testing to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Examine workmanship of finished installations to ensure conformity to standards.
  • Interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Record quantities of materials received or used during specified periods.
  • Maintain a daily log of construction and inspection activities.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Minimum of 3 years of inspection experience with some technical training or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of Word Processing software and Internet software.
  • Ability to work independently with supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Computer skills, including proficiency in Word Processing software and Internet software.
  • Certifications, such as TxDOT certification, ACI Field and/or Strength, Troxler, or similar state DOT certification.
