Job Description:

The Surgical Center Nurse Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with physicians to ensure optimal outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and progress
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice
  • 4-6 years of experience in a surgical setting or vascular access facility
  • Proficiency in IV insertion, cardiac rhythm recognition, and medical database software
  • Successful completion of ACLS certification
  • Ability to lift up to 200 lbs with assistance and work in a dynamic environment

Estimated Salary:$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
