Medical Surgical Nurse Job Details

**Job Summary:**

As a Medical Surgical Nurse at AMN Healthcare, you will provide high-quality patient care to adult patients who are acutely ill with a wide variety of medical problems and diseases or are recovering from surgery. You will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, handling large patient loads and adapting to the ever-changing face of nursing care.

**Responsibilities:**

* Provide direct patient care to adult patients in a medical surgical setting
* Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
* Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to physicians
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care

**Requirements:**

* Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
* Active RN license
* ACLS certification (may be required)
* Recent experience and flexible schedule required
